Montebello, CA – At least one person suffered serious injuries in a DUI accident that happened Wednesday afternoon in Montebello, the California Highway Patrol reported.

According to CHP logs, a food truck and a blue Honda HR-V were involved in the collision.
One person was lying down on the ground after the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported at least one person to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Authorities said impairment was a contributing factor but did not give more details.
