San Francisco, CA. – Minor injuries were reported in a rollover collision involving multiple vehicles Monday morning in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup occurred around 8:14 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80, just east of the Yerba Buena Island off-ramp.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found a gray Mazda overturned onto the driver's side with the driver trapped inside, a white Dodge truck, and a white Honda Accord.
A fourth unknown car reportedly left the scene after the crash.
Authorities believe the Accord caused the collision.
At least one person suffered minor injuries in the accident. It was unclear if the patient was hospitalized.
Investigators closed the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes as they worked the scene.
