According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 4:34 p.m. on southbound Interstate 405, just north of Venice Boulevard.
Four vehicles, including a Honda Fit, a Toyota Tundra, and a Mercedes Benz E-Class, were involved in the pileup.
At least one person suffered minor injuries in the accident.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
