Two vehicles collided around 6:40 p.m. on northbound Interstate 880, just north of the Alvarado Niles Road off-ramp.
Union City, CA. – At least one person was hurt in a traffic collision that took place Friday evening in Union City, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Two vehicles collided around 6:40 p.m. on northbound Interstate 880, just north of the Alvarado Niles Road off-ramp.
A blue Ford F-150 and a silver Toyota Camry were involved in the crash. The right front wheel of the pickup truck got detached in the collision.
The sedan was allegedly speeding prior to the accident.
CHP officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.
At least one person sustained minor injuries.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the incident.
