Mohave County, AZ – Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of a crash between a big rig and a vehicle that led to the death of one person in Mohave County on Wednesday morning.
According to the Kingman Police Department, the incident happened in the 900 block of West Beale Street in Kingman at around 7:40 a.m. December 31.
Police said a semi-trailer was driving out of the Travel Center of America truck stop when it entered West Beale Street and was struck by an eastbound 2006 pickup.
The driver of the pickup, identified as Michael David Schuster, 57, of Golden Valley, sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene. The pickup was lodged under the semi due to the collision.
The driver of the big rig, who was not immediately identified, was not hurt in the wreck.
The Kingman Police Department is investigating the accident.
