The collision was reported at approximately 5:26 a.m. on northbound US101, just south of Willow Road, and blocked multiple lanes of traffic.

Preliminary reports indicate that a red Chevrolet Cruze and a gray Honda Civic collided, with the cause still under investigation. The impact left one of the vehicles positioned perpendicular across the roadway, blocking all four northbound lanes.

The Chevrolet had significant front-end damage, while the Honda suffered major rear-end damage. Shortly after the crash, both vehicles were reported in the slow lane, with occupants still inside.

One person in the red Chevrolet Cruze sustained serious injuries in the collision. No arrests were reported in connection with the Menlo Park crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not yet determined what factors contributed to the collision.
