Maricopa, AZ- At Least 1 Injured in Rollover Accident on SR 347 near Casa Blanca Road

Maricopa, AZ – At least one person was injured in a rollover collision in Maricopa early Thursday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The wreck took place at around 4:32 a.m. on State Route 347 near milepost 178, just south of Casa Blanca Road.

According to the report, two vehicles were involved in the accident and at least one of them rolled over. The crash, which is believed to been caused by a motorist’s inattention, happened in the northbound lanes of SR 347.

There were reports of minor injuries in the collision. An update on the the number of those injured was not provided.

The crash caused a closure of the left lane of northbound SR 347 for an unspecified duration. An investigation to establish the cause of the collision is still ongoing.
