Lincoln, CA – A man was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Lincoln, according to the police.
The fatal collision occurred just after 10:00 a.m. on September 8 at the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and the entrance to the Sterling Pointe shopping center.
Police said the collision involved an SUV and a tractor-trailer.
The SUV driver was trapped inside and had to be extricated.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not been released.
There were no other people in the SUV.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the accident.
The collision closed northbound Lincoln Boulevard for more than two hours.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
