A man was hit by a vehicle outside of a crosswalk and the involved driver failed to stop and render aid to the victim
Los Angeles, CA.– A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of South Los Angeles on Monday night.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident took place on 74th and Figueroa streets shortly before 9:57 p.m. August 18.
A man was hit by a vehicle outside of a crosswalk and the involved driver failed to stop and render aid to the victim.
Police officers and the Los Angeles Fire Department crews arrived at the scene shortly after.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There was no description of the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
The LAPD is conducting an investigation into the collision.
