La Verne, CA – A man was killed in a Saturday mid-morning traffic collision on Wheeler Avenue in La Verne.
The crash occurred at 11:45 a.m. in the 6700 block of Wheeler Avenue at Sherwood Drive, according to the La Verne Police Department.
Two vehicles were located at the crash site. However, the circumstances surrounding the mishap were not immediately established.
One person, only identified as a man, died in the wreck.
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
Wheeler Avenue was shut down between Sherwood and Kent drives as the police investigated the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
