Man Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Redwood Street in Vallejo

, California (July 31, 2021) – A two-vehicle collision has claimed the life of a man and left another person injured early Friday morning in Vallejo, according to authorities.

The deadly crash happened at about 5:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, in the 2600 block of Redwood Street.

Authorities said a vehicle, driven by a 59-year-old man, was traveling westbound on Redwood Street when he made a turning movement and collided with another car.

The man was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

The driver of the second vehicle was also taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The motorist was cooperative, authorities said.
