Hanford, CA. – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle near Hanford in Kings County early Sunday morning, according to the California Higwhay Patrol.
The incident took place on 10th and Idaho Avenues shortly before 5 a.m. May 4.
According to the CHP, a man was walking southbound on 10th Avenue when he was struck by a northound 2012 Toyota Tacoma.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene after the accident.
The incident is under investigation.
