Otay Mesa, CA. – A man was hit and injured by a big rig in Otay Mesa on Friday afternoon, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident took place at 2451 Britannia Boulevard at about 1:50 p.m. April 25.
According to the report, a 2013 black Peterbilt tractor-trailer was backing up at the loading docks of a business when it began moving forward and hit a pedestrian who walked infront of it.
The man who was hit by the big rig was taken to a hospital with a leg injury.
No further details were released.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the accident.
