Sacramento, CA. – A man riding a scooter was critically injured after being struck by a car Saturday afternoon in Sacramento’s College Town neighborhood, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Emergency responders transported the man to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Authorities said the driver involved stayed at the scene.
Police temporarily closed the area for investigation.
