Bakersfield, CA. – A man was critically injured in a suspected DUI crash on Sunday morning in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Hageman Road and Fruitvale Avenue.
A Mazda Miata and a Mitsubishi Outlander collided in the area in unclear circumstances.
The driver of the Miata suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The female driver of the Mitsubishi and a juvenile passenger were also hospitalized with minor injuries.
A male passenger in the Outlander suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
