A man and a woman in the same car as the infant were taken to a trauma center for treatment

Los Angeles, CA. – A man and a baby were killed in a collision in the Vermont Square neighborhood of Los Angeles on Monday night.
The double-fatal collision happened in the 4600 block of South Western Avenue at around 11:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A vehicle was speeding north on Western Avenue when it veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a second vehicle.
The 40-year-old man driving the wrong way and an infant in the second car were also killed in the accident.
