A passenger in the Ford was transported to the hospital with serious injuries

Sacramento, CA. – One person was killed in a head-on collision on Friday night near Olivehurst.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Feather River Boulevard near Myrna Avenue.
A 72-year-old man was driving a Chevy S-10 south on Feather River Blvd when he crossed into an oncoming lane and collided head on with an oncoming Ford.
The driver of the Chevy, a resident of Plumas Lake, was killed in the accident.
A passenger in the Ford was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
