According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 6:05 p.m. on eastbound 73rd Avenue and Krause Avenue.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
An infant in the back seat of one of the cars was unresponsive.
Authorities said the accident resulted in major injuries. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
