Madera County, CA – A driver involved in an accident in Madera County early Sunday morning later succumbed to their injuries, according to the authorities.
The wreck occurred shortly after 6 a.m. January 4, on Highway 41, just north of Yosemite Springs Parkway.
According to California Highway Patrol, a driver traveling on Highway 41 lost control due to the wet roadway and the vehicle rolled over.
The driver was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where the driver later died. The identity of the motorist was not immediately released.
According to the CHP, the wet roadways caused by rain are believed to have played a role in the incident. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
