Los Banos, CA – A driver in a stolen vehicle was arrested after a police pursuit ended in a crash that left several people injured in Los Banos on Monday morning, according to the authorities.

At around 11:45 a.m. May 4, Los Banos Police Department officers spotted a stolen white Jeep Wrangler in the area of West H Street and Texas Street and attempted to stop the motorist.

The suspect instead fled the area traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on H Street and police initiated a chase. Shortly after, the suspect got into a collision with a gray GMC sedan just past the Badger Flat Road intersection.

The suspect driver, identified as Julian Robles, 39, of Los Banos, and his passenger were both taken to Los Banos Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.

Two people riding in the GMC were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Police reported that Robles would be booked on multiple charges upon his release from the hospital.
