Los Angeles, CA – A woman died after she ran a red light and collided with another vehicle Sunday night at an intersection in downtown Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the wreck took place around 9:34 p.m., March 8, at Washington Boulevard and Flower Street.
Investigators reported that a man was driving a car in the No. 1 lane of Flower when a woman driving a gray vehicle allegedly ran a red light at the intersection and collided with the man. The woman’s vehicle rolled over.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and offered lifesaving measures to the woman before transporting her to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
It was unclear if the man was injured, but a person at the scene said he was hospitalized with possible moderate injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
