Los Angeles, CA – At least one person sustained major injuries in a rollover collision involving two SUVs that happened Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 405 in Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident transpired around 1:06 p.m., May 27, in the southbound lanes of I-405 just south of Skirball Center Drive.
A black Range Rover and another SUV collided for an unknown reason. One of them overturned and came back on its wheels. Airbags in one of the vehicles were deployed.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and took at least one person to the hospital with major injuries.
Several lanes were blocked for an unknown period following the accident.
