
Los Angeles, CA. – One person was killed in a Saturday morning multi-vehicle collision on the Golden State (5) Freeway near Lebec in Los Angeles.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the fatal collision happened on the northbound 5 just south of Smokey Bear Road at around 11:32 a.m.
Multiple vehicles collided on the freeway, but the descriptions of the involved vehicles and the events leading up to the collision were not immediately available.
One person suffered a medical emergency at the scene, resulting in a fatality, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.
The identity of the person who died was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the fatal crash were not released.
