According to CHP, a man on a bicycle collided with at least one car under unclear circumstances.

Los Angeles, CA – A cyclist died after colliding with a vehicle early Monday morning on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in East Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred around 3:20 a.m. on August 10, 2026, on the southbound lanes of the freeway just north of Floral Drive.
According to CHP, a man on a bicycle collided with at least one car under unclear circumstances.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
CHP officers closed the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the southbound freeway while they worked the scene. All lanes were reopened at about 8:15 a.m.
