Los Angeles, CA. – Two people were injured in a car accident on Sunday night in the Palms area of West Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened around 8:34 p.m. at Tilden Avenue and National Boulevard, southeast of the interchange of the San Diego (405) and Santa Monica (10) freeways.

Two vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.

Firefighters had to use hydraulic tools to free a patient from a vehicle before being taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the other car was also taken to hospital in unknown condition.
