Los Angeles, CA – A man died, and two others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday night at an intersection in Koreatown, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

According to LAPD, a car was traveling northbound on Vermont Avenue when it collided with another vehicle heading eastbound on 1st Street. One of the cars overturned after the first impact.
A 31-year-old man in the second car was ejected and killed at the scene. The Los Angeles Fire Department said the victim was pronounced dead in the 3500 block of West 1st Street following what was classified as an expanded traffic crash.
LAFD paramedics transported to other people – a 23-year-old driver and a 21-year-old passenger – to the hospital in stable condition.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
