According to a report by the Lodi Police Department, the incident occurred at about 3:50 p.m. June 23, in the 800 block of West Lodi Avenue near Crescent Avenue.

Lodi police and emergency crews responded to the scene and the pedestrian was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The victim was critically injured in the accident but authorities he was in stable condition.
The driver remained at the scene of the collision and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
