Lisa Kopetski Injured in Accident on I-82 in Kennewick

According to WSP, Lisa J. Kopetski, 68, of Pendleton, was driving a Honda CRV west on I-82 when she slowed down for traffic ahead and was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee

Kennewick, WA.- A woman was injured in a car accident near Kennewick on Wednesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The wreck took place on Interstate 82 at milepost 131 on Wednesday, September 10.

According to WSP, Lisa J. Kopetski, 68, of Pendleton, was driving a Honda CRV west on I-82 when she slowed down for traffic ahead and was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee.

Kopetski was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston with unspecified injuries.

The driver of the Jeep reportedly fled the scene after the accident.

Charges are pending against the Jeep driver.
