San Pedro, CA. – Authorities have identified the teenager killed in a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night in San Pedro as 17-year-old Liam May.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 11 p.m. on Harbor Boulevard near 22nd Street, where a northbound Ford Mustang struck a power pole.
May, a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The teenage driver sustained minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.
The LAPD is investigating the crash.
