Police reported that the teens were hit by a vehicle along Jefferson Boulevard and the vehicle left the scene after the accident

Sacramento, CA.- The the two girls who were killed in a hit-and-run crash in Sacramento on Saturday night have been identified as Layla Chrissa Clemons, 17, and Jaea Chatman, 17, according to the Yolo County Coroner’s Office.
The incident happened on Jefferson Boulevard and Bevan Road at about 9 p.m. August 2.
Police reported that the teens were hit by a vehicle along Jefferson Boulevard and the vehicle left the scene after the accident.
The two victims died at the scene of the crash.
On Sunday morning, police arrested a suspect in connection with the accident.
David Alison Walker, 71, of Fair Oaks, was placed into custody on suspicion of hit-and-run.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
