Firefighters put out the flames and pronounced the officer dead at the scene.
Los Angeles, CA. – An off-duty LAPD officer was killed in a car crash early Saturday morning in Santa Clarita.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the accident happened around 2:15 a.m. at Cinema Drive and Bouquet Canyon Road.
The officer was driving a Tesla when he crashed into a utility pole, and the vehicle caught fire.
Firefighters put out the flames and pronounced the officer dead at the scene.
