Lane County, OR – A woman was killed in a crash involving a logging truck in Lane County on Monday afternoon.

According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, authorities were notified at around 2:45 p.m. October 5, to the crash in the 90600 block of Territorial Highway.

Initial reports indicate that a driver in a small pickup truck was trying to make a turn on Territorial Highway when she entered the path of a northbound truck and the two collided.

Witnesses performed CPR on the pickup truck driver until the LCSO deputies and emergency crews from the Lane Fire Authority arrived.

The driver of the pickup was declared deceased at the scene. She was identified as Tracey Michele Lancour, 54. Authorities reported that Lancour was not wearing a seatbelt.

Both sides of Territorial Highway were temporarily shut down while authorities worked at the scene.

Both vehicles were towed from the site of the accident.

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
