Investigations revealed that a Honda Civic was traveling northbound on 2nd Avenue when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by 2018 Kenworth traveling east on Houston Avenue

Kings County, CA – A driver was injured in a collision involving a Kenworth at an intersection near Hanford in Kings County on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place on 2nd and Houston avenues at around 7 p.m. on April 15.
Investigations revealed that a Honda Civic was traveling northbound on 2nd Avenue when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by 2018 Kenworth traveling east on Houston Avenue.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after and attended to the driver of the Civic, who was injured in the accident. The driver was then transported to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
At the time of the report, the identities of the involved motorists were not released. The operator of the Kenworth was unharmed in the accident.
It’s unclear whether impairment or speed were factors in the collision. Authorities did not report any arrests in connection with the crash.
