Oakland, CA. – 58-year-old Kevin Jellison of Roseville died in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Oakland.
The pileup was reported around 2:30 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 west of Powell Street.
Jellison was riding a Honda VT model motorcycle when he was involved in a collision involving a Toyota Prius, a Tesla model S, and a Subaru Crosstrek. The manner of the crash remained unknown.
Jellison died at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Impairment was not believed to be a contributing factor.
Investigators closed three eastbound I-80 lanes as they worked the scene.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 near Powell Street.
A Honda VT motorcycle, Toyota Prius, Tesla Model S, and a Subaru Crosstrek were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
