Kennewick, WA – One person was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle on Sunday night in Kennewick, according to a report by the Kennewick Police Department.

Police reported that a man riding a motorcycle through the intersection got into a collision with another vehicle. There was no update on the events leading up to the accident.
Kennewick police and emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after the crash.
Paramedics performed life-saving measures on the motorcyclist but were unsuccessful. The rider was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was also at the scene when authorities arrived. The driver showed signs of intoxication and was arrested.
According to police, the driver was booked into the Benton County jail for vehicluar homicide. The identities of the driver and the motorcyclist were not immediately available.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Kennewick Police Department.
