Pacoima, CA.- The pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Pacoima on Sunday night has been identified as Juan Villegas Martinez, 53, of Pacoima, according to the authorities.
The accident took place in the 13200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard at about 10 p.m. October 19.
Martinez was walking in the area when he was struck by a vehicle.
The involved driver fled the scene after the accident.
Martinez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
