Emergency crews worked to save the man, but he succumbed to his injuries at the accident screen
Rancho Mirage, CA. – 40-year-old Juan Garcia was killed in a pedestrian accident on Thursday afternoon in Rancho Mirage.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 5 p.m. in the area of Bob Hope and Columbia Drive.
The Indio man was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
Emergency crews worked to save the pedestrian, but the man died at the accident scene.
The driver remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
