San Diego, CA – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on Interstate 805 in San Diego on Monday, October 13.

The Medical Examiner identified the rider as John Reno Rivera Bactad, 21, of San Diego.

Bactad was driving a motorcycle when, for unknown reasons, he veered off the roadway and struck a palm tree.

He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
