The CHP reported that Gary Brennan was driving a Toyota Tundra northbound on Highway 101 whe he tried to make a left turn at Stage Coach Road and was struck on the side by a southbound Chevrolet Silverado 3500

San Luis Obispo, CA.- Two drivers were hurt in a head-on collision that occurred in San Luis Obispo on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at around 6:44 a.m. February 6, on Highway 101 at Stage Coach Road.
The CHP reported that Gary Brennan was driving a Toyota Tundra northbound on Highway 101 whe he tried to make a left turn at Stage Coach Road and was struck on the side by a southbound Chevrolet Silverado 3500.
The impact caused the Silverado to roll over and it spilled nearly 75 gallons of diesel fuel onto the roadway.
Brennan and the Chevrolet driver, Jerell Cryer, were both pulled out of their vehicles by firefighters.
They were then transported to Adventist Health Sierra Vista hospital for treatment of major injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
According to CHP, DUI is not suspected to have played a role in the incident, which remains under investigation.
