Vail, AZ.- Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Monday night near Vail, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The wreck took place on Interstate 10, near milepost 283 at around 8:31 p.m. September 1.
According to the DPS, a car was traveling westbound on I-10 when it crashed into a slow-moving semi.
Two other vehicles were caught up in the chain-reaction collision.
Some involved parties were reportedly injured in the incident.
The number of those hurt and the extent of their injuries were not released.
The westbound side of I-10 was temporarily shut down following the incident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
