Indio, CA – One person was injured in a traffic collision that happened Sunday morning in Indio, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported around 9:49 a.m. on the eastbound Interstate 10 near Monroe Street.
A Toyota Camry and possibly another car that fled the scene were involved in the accident.
An occupant in the Camry suffered a possible head injury. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and offered medical aid to the victim.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
