Sanger, CA.- A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle in Sanger on Tuesday evening, according to the Sanger Police Department.
The incident took place at Bethel and Almond avenues at about 7:20 p.m. on February 25.
Two 17-year-olds were trying to walk across Bethel Avenue when they were hit by a northbound vehicle at the intersection of Almond Avenue.
The two victims were rushed to a hospital with critical injuries and one of them was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
