Fresno County, CA.- The man who was killed in a traffic collision in Fresno County on Monday afternoon has been identified as Diego Gutierrez Mogollan, 45, of Sanger, according to the Fresno County Coroner's Office.
The wreck took place in the area of North and Temperance avenues at around 1:15 p.m. August 25.
According to the CHP, a Hyundai Elantra was traveling westbound on North Avenue when the driver tried to make a left turn at the intersection.
The Elantra ended up colliding with a Freightliner semi-truck traveling eastbound.
Mogollan, who was the driver of the Hyundai, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The operator of the big rig was uninjured.
No further details were released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
