Hemet, CA – A motorcyclist died two days after colliding with a sedan Tuesday evening at an intersection in Hemet, authorities reported.
The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on September 8, 2026, at Sanderson and Florida avenues.
According to the Hemet Police Department, a Toyota sedan and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle were involved in the crash.
The accident happened when the driver of the sedan attempted to make a northbound turn onto Sanderson Avenue and collided with the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries. Paramedics responded and transported the victim to a nearby hospital. Police officers were notified that the rider died Thursday while receiving treatment.
The driver of the sedan cooperated with investigators.
