According to a report by the Gilbert Police Department, Pauline Gray, 59, was killed in the incident that occurred on Cooper Road and Merrill Avenue just after 10 a.m. on July 17.
Gilbert, AZ- Authorities have identified the woman who was killed in a traffic accident that happened on Friday morning in Gilbert.

Authorities reported that two vehicles were involved in the crash. One of the drivers is believed to have failed to stop for a red light and collided with the second vehicle at the intersection.
Gilbert police and firefighters responded to the scene of the collision shortly after. Gray was reportedly driving one of the vehicles and was was trapped in the wreckage.
She had to be extricated from her vehicle by the firefighters and was declared deceased at the scene. The second motorist was not hurt in the incident and stayed at the scene.
The crash led to a closure of the Cooper Road and Merrill Avenue intersection as authorities investigated the incident.
The Gilbert Police Department is handling an ongoing investigation into the accident.
