Initial reports indicate that a 40-year-old Kingsburg man was driving a blue Cherokee southbound on Brawley Avenue when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with the side of a black Ford Fusion traveling east on Manning Avenue.
Fresno County, CA – Four people were injured in a collision between two vehicles on Monday night in Fresno County, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred in the area of Brawley and Manning avenues at about 9:30 p.m. July 27.
Initial reports indicate that a 40-year-old Kingsburg man was driving a blue Cherokee southbound on Brawley Avenue when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with the side of a black Ford Fusion traveling east on Manning Avenue.
Two passengers in the Ford were flown to CRMC with major injuries and one of them reportedly had a broken leg.
The driver of the Ford had minor injuries in the accident and was transported by ambulance.
The driver of the Cherokee was treated for minor injuries. The driver was also arrested on suspicion of DUI following the incident.
Additional information on the crash was not immediately provided. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
