Fresno, CA – One person was killed early Wednesday morning after a vehicle collided with a parked vehicle on Willamette Avenue in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fatal crash was reported at approximately 4:00 a.m. on September 30, 2026, in the area of Willamette Avenue and Eunice Avenue.

According to the CHP incident log, the collision involved a moving vehicle and a parked black Hyundai. A caller reported that his friend had struck his vehicle, which had been parked at 159 W Willamette Avenue.

The authorities pronounced the victim dead at about 6:08 a.m. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Investigators searched the surrounding area and checked nearby locations for additional information and possible video footage.

An evidence tow was requested, and the involved vehicle was later taken to a tow yard as investigators processed the scene.

The circumstances that led to the collision remain under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
