Los Angeles, CA – A 60-year-old pedestrian, identified as Francis Shim, was hit and killed by a wrong-way hit-and-run crash in West Los Angeles Tuesday afternoon.
The deadly crash happened at about 2:10 p.m. on August 5 in the 2400 block of South Bundy Drive.
Investigators said a car traveling southbound in northbound lanes of Bundy Drive, when it struck a man who was standing in the roadway along the curb, south of Pico Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The pedestrian, later identified as Francis Shim, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle left the scene after the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
