Ferndale, WA – A motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Ferndale last week on Friday evening has been identified by the Whatcom County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Justin James, 35, of Ferndale, was the victim of the crash that took place on Haxton Way at around 5 p.m. on January 23.
According to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office, James was riding a motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with an SUV in front of the Silver Reef Casino.
The report did not indicate which directions the vehicles were headed or what caused them to crash.
Deputies reported that James had fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV, who has not yet been identified, was treated for minor injuries following the incident.
