Portland, OR – One person was killed in a Sunday evening pedestrian accident in Portland, according to the Oregon State Police.
The grisly wreck occurred at around 6:43 p.m. January 26 in the 4200 block of Southeast Cesar Estrada Chavez Boulevard.
A vehicle struck the victim for unknown reasons.
The unidentified person was transported to an area hospital with severe injuries for treatment, where they were pronounced dead.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
During the on-site investigation, Southeast Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard was closed from Southeast Gladstone Street to Southeast Holgate Boulevard.
An investigation is ongoing.
